Being on the cover of Status: It will be a great honor to grace the cover of Status for many reasons. For starters,I enjoy reading the monthly articles, tips, and features. I have been in the fitness field for quite some time now and I have accomplished many triumphs with my competing, personal and business goals. I have also overcame many obstacles. It will mean a great honor to be able to inspire, motivate, and encourage Status readers.

Bio: Professionally, I'm a personal trainer and owner of Dialed In Fitness. I'm also a Figure Competitor of Peruvian Nationality, as well as, Muscleology's Customer Relations Manager & Sponsored Athlete. I share a deep passion for fitness and nutrition and love to help people change their lifestyles to a healthier, fitter, and happier one. Personally, I am a wife and mother of a wonderful 9 year old boy. I love to spend time with my family and have a close relationship with my mother and father. I have also been blessed with amazing friends, in and out of the fitness industry that I love to keep in contact with. I love to read, watch movies, dance, and outdoor activities. My favorite food is sushi.

I have this posted on my refrigerator and every morning before I start my day I take a few minutes to analyze myself. I think about my goals and what I have to do to make sure that my actions match my goals and dreams. I set daily goals that get me on the path that will make my dreams and goals a reality.

Nutrition / Supplements: I maintain a clean and balanced diet year round. If you treat your body right, it will return the favor. I eat 6 meals a day that include whole grains, legumes, lean proteins, essential fatty acids, with plenty of vegetables, and fruits. With a background in nutrition, I create meal plans that target the certain goals and activities I have so that I'm always meeting my dietary needs and continue making progress. Off-season, I enjoy eating sushi and other treats in moderation. I change my diet to a more structured plan when I prepare for a show and absolutely no cheating or deviate from my plan. I take Prograde's vgf 25+ multi for women, Calcium, Vitamin C, Muscleology's myofiber & Nitro Pro, glutamine, beta alanine, creatine, bcaa's, and Vitargo (post workout only). When I prepare for a show I add in Muscleology's lipoburn for women and sometimes stack it with lipoburn ctx once in the morning for the extra energy. I also add Evo pre& post workout when I prepare for a show.

Training: Like my nutrition, my resistance training program changes to meet the goals I need to accomplish and ensures I continue to make ongoing changes. It really depends on what I need to enhance my physique but it always includes training with weights and cardio based activities. I incorporate many different equipment and intensities to target my specific needs. For my resistance training: I use primarily free weights, but I also use machines, bands, resistance bands, cables, medicine balls and even bodyweight. For cardio, I do a combination of steady and interval training. I incorporate uphill and track sprints, as well as, sport derived drills, plyometrics, circuits, etc.

My favorite cardio machines are the stair mill, stepper, treadmill that has capacity of a 30 incline, and the rower.

What separates Status from any other fitness magazine: Status Fitness is a respectable and trendy magazine that includes material that targets all spectrum's of fitness, genders, and goals. It features very encouraging athletes and role models that truly inspire its readers. The articles and advice are accurate and of solid unbiased information. Status magazine also sincerely supports all the athletes, models, and photographers.
