Models

Who is eligible? All females worldwide

Are there age restrictions? 18 years and older

How many times can I enter? If you do not qualify in a given month, you can enter up to five times in five different non-sequential contest periods. Sequential entries is at the discretion of the editors. In order to be eligible for additional contests, we must receive a request through our registration form page. Those with less then 300 votes per contest may not be granted a second entry. People can vote up to five times a day, so it's quite easy to reach 300 votes with minimal work. If it's not important to you to qualify for the cover, then chances are you won't be accepted into further contests. This will be at the discretion of the editors.

Who's photo can I submit? Any photographer's. This is a great opportunity for new photographers to be noticed by Status Fitness staff, other models and the voting public.

Do photos have to be professional? No. If you have a strong network of supporters that know you would make a great cover model, then that will likely be enough to move you into the finals.

What style photos? Any image that showcases a fit physique.

Can I submit sexy photos? Yes, as long as there is no nudity or overtly sexual in expression or pose.

Do I need to fill out all the portions of the registration page? Yes. Use this section to promote yourself. Many top industry people will see this. Good writing skills and self promotion is a huge plus in the fitness industry. Please, no ALL UPPER CASE entries, they will not be posted.

When can I see my photos? Contest entry profiles should be visible in the first few days of the month.

What size photos can I submit? Ideally 420x620, need to be under 600kb. Nothing smaller then 400 pixels on the longest side or the system won't be able to run the image. Also, you will get an error if your photos are too large and will have to resubmit.

How many photos can I submit? On the registration page we allow you to attach 3 images. We may request more to add to your contest profile.

How many times a day can I vote? Five times a day.

Why can someone vote five times a day? Simple. A each entry likely has friends and family that vote regularly BUT there are a lot more visitors to the site that don't know any of the contestants and want to vote for multiple models. This is the reason we have set the voting number to five. When it's five times a day, it's even across the board.

Who Can Vote? Anyone can vote. The more people you have voting, the better chance of placing at the top. If we determine anyone falsifying emails/votes, the model in question will be disqualified permanently.

Why set vote limits by email rather then IP address? Most people have access to Dynamic IPs which is easier to change then setting up multiple email accounts. We can review email accounts  and compare them to IP address which is stored securely as people register.

When can I enter? Anytime. If we receive your entry within one week of a contest month, then you will be entered into the following month. Ie, if we receive your entry January 28, you won't qualify until March.

How do I win? Winners are chosen by total votes in a contest period. The contestant with the most votes wins. The four runners-up will be the next four contestants with the most votes.

If I win, what photos will be published? Status Fitness reserves the right to decline photos that do not meet a level of style and quality that would maintain Status Fitness's highest industry standard. You can still win with unprofessional images, but before your feature will be run, you will be required to supply a photo that meets Status Fitness high standards. This may require you to arrange a photo shoot for the feature. If this is the case, then it's best advised that you shoot with a photographer that is regularly featured as he/she will be familiar with the quality desired.

I can win a cover? Yes. The top five from each month move into the finals. The top twelve will be chosen for features in Status Fitness Magazine with one lucky contestant being chosen for the prestigious opportunity to shoot for the cover and cover feature.

Who will shoot the cover? The photographer with the most used photo credits of the winning model will have first honors of photographing her for the cover. The photo must meet the high quality standards of our editors - lighting, pose, outfit, expression etc - in order to maintain the highest level of quality Status Fitness is known for across North America. If the image fails to meet the necessary standard, then a staff photographer will shoot the winner for the cover.

What are the monthly prizes? Every monthly contest winner will receive $200 in sport supplements and an entry into the finals.
