Proper Technique will bring out your physique Executing the right form in the gym
Ever wonder why you will often see the same people in the gym, for months at time, yet never see any changes in their physique? I see it all the time. I have received several emails from peopple asking why they never see any changes after spending hours in the gym. They proceed to dictate what they are eating and what exercises they are doing in the gym. This is all great but my next question is “are you executing the right form? Most often it is people lack of form and execution that hinders their development. Would you believe that more than 50% of people train incorrectly, lacking the basic principles such as depressing your scapula, chest out, engaging proper muscles? For example, how often do you see something conducting a lat pull down and the weight is so heavy that they are actually using all their arms to pull the bar down, not even using their lat/back muscles at all. Sound familiar. Or how often to you see someone conducting side laterals with the weight so heavy that they are using their forearms to lift the weight and not their shoulders/delts.
The point is, make sure you are educated on the proper technique of lifting weights. Don’t sacrifice your form to lift heavy, It will not get you any further ahead. It’s pointless to spend hours in the gym and a waste of time when you are not training correctly. Ask a professional trainer to show you if you have any questions.
