How many times have you already been asked this question? Another year passes and we tell ourselves "this is the year we will start working out, eating right or quit smoking". Within weeks many fail and go back to the old habits. Do not use a date to start a goal, use a date to finish a goal. If it takes jan 1 for you to get off your butt and do something more then likely it will take jan 10th for you to sit right back down.
Every year we look back and reflect on the good and bad things that happened. We focus on how we could have changed certain things or how ine folowing year we can do more. I am interested in seeing what your plans for 2010 are. In 2009 I accomplished so many things that were not in the equation stating the year. I launched Hitch Fit Online Personal Training, opened Hitch Fit Gym here in Kansas City, was featured and cover model for multiple publications, competed in the WBFF World Championships placing top 10 and transformed people all over the globe. One of the most exciting things happening for me was becoming apart of the Status Fitness team. For 2010 I hope for Energy and Strength and to continue helping as many people as I can. With as much as I work I only have one option of lifestyle and that is to live and breathe HEALTHY. I want to show you how you can feel awesome too.
How were your holidays? I find so many people upset at themselves for over eating and not working out during the holidays and its so cliché that Jan. 1 is always when people look back at their year and the prior 3 months and the scale shows their 5-20 lb weight gain and wished they would have done things differently. They go and get a gym membership then 2 weeks later get right back in the old routine. You keep telling yourself you want to feel good, have more energy, you want to look in the mirror and like what you see. Is it not time you started this up? As long as you keep making excuses for yourself you will never succeed in your goal. I hear everything in the book from I do not have time, I’m too old, I have bad knees, I have kids, my job is stressful, I love sweets.. blah blah blah. Then stop complaining that you gained weight, have no energy and not motivated. Its simple there is no quick fix, its working hard, eating right and making good choices. For long term success the 3 of these things must happen.
I hope that you start this lifestyle up and keep in contact with me on how you are doing!!!
I hope everyone has a wonderful 2010!!!!
