Workout wear or Club wear? A fine line on what’s appropriate
A fine line between workout wear and club wear?
Baby tees, sunglasses, thongs, even heels , at some point for the average gym guru we have often seen the the outfits that make our inner voice say..” What the hell is she/he wearing?”
What is the fine line that differentiates what is appropriate to wear in the gym, or not to wear? With the new fashion trends that have made workout wear almost a cross over to club wear, Where do we draw the line? I am often amazed at some of the attire that I see men and women where in the gym. No doubt we are all there to show off our hard work and in some shape or form, directly or indirectly wear something that makes us feel fabulous, fit and often sexy, yet at the same time..There is a time and a place.
Ladies, yes with the new fashion trends such as those by Victoria Secret, please remember, workout wear should be comfortable and still have the ability to hide “the goods” . Shorts are meant to workout out, but “booty shorts, short shorts” or Brazilian wear, that are not enough to cover your glutes, don’t cut it in the gym. Save that for perhaps an upcoming photoshoot, or more so, the bedroom. Sports tops or bra tops can definitely be sexy especially if you are comfortable with a little cleavage, but what’s not cool..is when the “goods or the “twins” are sitting virtually on top of the bra top! Get it..?
Oh and gentlemen….wife beaters that are 2 sizes too small….not cool, nor are the sunglasses. Save them for outside. It’s often much more appealing to have a nice fitted t shirt that will show your shape, and contour.
Remember you are there to work out…not for a fashion parade or a red carpet gym premier.
